Central Dauphin captured titles in seven weight classes this weekend at the Bullet Invitational at Brandywine Heights High School. The Rams set the tone with their talent-laden lighter weights as Chris Wright pinned the Bullets’ Trevor Gimbor in 4:50 to win at 106, Jake Cherry turned back Northern Lehigh’s Colton Rex 6-1 and Tyshawn White turned in a technical fall in 4:51 (28-13) to captured the 120 title.
Other champions from Jeff Sweigard’s club were Zach Elvin at 138, Skitch Light at 152, Mitchell Pleskonko at 160 and Steven McNeal at 195. Central Dauphin also had three other wrestlers place second as it cruised to the team title with 242 points. Koltyn Eason at 145, JP Marrero at 220 and Joe Williams at 285 all came home with silver medals.
Other local champions included Manheim Central’s Jared Siegrist at 170 and Palmyra’s Leo Higgins at 220. Other Manheim Central place winners were Caleb Enck taking second place at 132, Zack Zeamer taking second place at 126, Elliot Martin taking fourth place at 220, Isaiah Mejias taking fifth place at 160, Connor Pavlik taking fifth place at 152, Joe Giffin taking fifth place at HWT, and Jared Groff taking sixth place at 106.
